What an amazing journey we are on. We had our first family fellowship at Lyman on Thursday evening 4:30-6:30pm. Adults, youth and children all blended together playing bingo - some for the first time. Pizza and all the kids received a prize some through the kindness of the adults who had their eyes open. Not for the bingo prize, but the prize of knowing every child that was with us was as important as the child in their lap. You are welcome to come this coming Thursday - same time with the Lyman Baptist church family.

We are also updating all our computers and the website to better reflect the vision that Lord has now given us. That is, no longer working out of any physical ministry building but rather working with families in each community that are making a difference to those in their own location. We are there to encourage them to work with other like-minded believers that are willing to surrender everything for the benefit of the greater whole. No longer "American Christians", but "Christians in America".
We are looking forward to hosting the Child's Evangelism Fellowship prayer luncheon in partnership with the New Life at the Well church family in Mount Vernon this Thursday from 12:30 to 2pm. We continue to be encouraged for their passionate service to reach the children of our community, churched or not, with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We are also looking forward to the family devotion time this Sunday at 9:30am at Lyman. Last week, at the end of our devotion time we received a challenge after reading from Matthew 5:43-45 the words of Jesus: "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy,' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven." We were left with the challenge of adding someone that might fit that description, either from our past or present. to our Christmas card list (even if we don't have one). This Sunday, each person will receive a simple card of Christmas joy in a stamped envelope with a copy of the scripture Mt 5:43-48 to meditate over before adding any note, signing the card and adding the person's name and address. We are praying for forthcoming testimonies. If there is a response, we will be grateful whether it is good or bad. The real testimony is in facing our fear, doubt and possible anger and allowing the Holy Spirit to give you the necessary courage, love and faith to obey Jesus regardless of the consequence.
