Thank you, sweet Jesus, for allowing us to meet up. On such a beautiful day.

Harvest Kids was a blast being able to crush cans to help meet the needs of vulnerable children in Africa.

Counting money for helping build the kindergarten in Uganda Kabalagala. Which part of the kindergarten we are helping with is not exactly known yet. We are still waiting for the report back.

The Harvest Kids counted $152 dollars and the total is $469. We danced and praised the Lord. The Harvest Kids then read the rules.

And we had a little history lesson on St. valentine. A man devoted to God who was killed for his faith in Ancient Rome. That Valentine’s Day isn’t just about chocolates, teddy bears and flowers. It’s something more than that. It’s about loving God and loving others more than yourself. Everyday not just on Valentine’s Day.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. Philippians 2:3-4.” And that the one true and everlasting valentines gift was Jesus on the cross.

We then memorized a verse the Harvest Kids are getting so good at memorizing the verse but most importantly understanding that God is our friend. And we should crave to know Him more through scripture. The Harvest Kids blessed the food and we broke bread and played the M&M game. Sharing emotions depending on the color of the M&M.

We thank Mike and Lisa for opening their greenhouse for the Harvest Kids to meet there. Looking forward to many more Harvest Kids there. God willing.
