“How good and pleasant it is when brothers and sisters live together in unity. For there the Lord bestows His blessing, even life forevermore.” (Psalm 133)
“Seek the peace and prosperity of the community to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” (Jeremiah 29:7)
“Jesus said, ‘Honor your father and mother and love your neighbor as yourself.” (Matthew 19:19)
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:1:4-7, 13)
We are excited to invite you and your family to join with us at the Lyman City Park, on West Main Street in Lyman, WA a few blocks south of the Lyman church and across from the cemetery. We will be there with some burgers and hot dogs, games for the kids and just taking these few moments to be together as friends from Sedro and upriver communities.
