It was an awesome time crushing cans with the Harvest Kids in the freezing cold weather. Being able to crush Aluminum cans is a blessing. All the money from cans crushed get recycled and we send all the money made from aluminum cans crushed to Comfort Africa to meet the need of less fortunate orphaned kids. We were blessed to have sent the $518 to Uganda Africa for the girl’s net ball team so they can go town to town spreading the gospel through playing net ball. The Harvest Kids counted money for the next goal that we are currently waiting for. Odette provided with some wonderful songs/actions songs to give God praise and Glory for everything He has done. We then had a lesson of “what is true love?” we sometimes think love is saying you love someone or buying someone a lot of things to show them that you love them. Love is not getting someone things, to give them that temporary joy of the things they have or saying it. True love is “patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails” (1 Corinthians 13:4-8). One of the Harvest Kids then blessed the food, and we had fellowship played the M&M game, and crazy enough we played in the snow outside. From the womb to 99 years old it doesn’t matter what age you are, come join us we have Harvest Kids every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. Feel free to bring your empty Aluminum cans.
