Many thanks to everyone that came to the Salt and Light fellowship this last Sunday to celebrate the upcoming Africa mission trip that George and Ronaldo are being sent on to Uganda. It was a wonderful time of breaking bread together, joyful singing and praise and the opportunity for everyone to hear about the ministry in Africa from the first trip in November 2005. We thank all those that have supported the building of God’s kingdom in partnership with our co-laborers actually living and serving in Uganda and the other countries that co-labor with us. We are thankful for the prayers and financial support for this trip and are praying that it might stir the hearts of many to continue in prayer and financial support of Harvest Vision Ministries as we do our part here in the USA to build God’s kingdom here, Mexico and to other parts of the world as the Holy Spirit leads us. We appreciate the prayers and the anointing that we received from those that encouraged and laid hands on us for the provision, protection and assurance that God’s will would be accomplished.
In November 2012, Kylee Walker traveled to Uganda to celebrate the completion of the Madilyn House that was built for orphan girls that lived at a primary school in Mukono, Uganda. Prior, to that trip, in June she traveled there with her two children, Madilyn (5) and Hailey (3), and started the Harvest Kids ministry in Sedro Woolley, WA on their return. In preparation for the opening of the home in November, the local Harvest Kids put their signed handprints on a large canvas that was hung on the wall in Madilyn’s House wall. She had taken a second canvas and all the kids in the school that day put their signed handprints on it and it was brought back. When Kylee and her husband bought their home in Granite Falls a few years ago, it was planned to start Harvest Kids there with the handprint canvas hanging in the garage. Because of other circumstances, including the health problems that her husband had, that plan never came to fulfillment. God had a different plan and the day before this celebration Ronaldo and our friend, Nate, hung the canvas on the wall of the fellowship center for the first time in over 12 years. You are welcome to come and fellowship with us and especially invited to come and visit the Harvest Kids ministry that Ronaldo coordinates the 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month from 11am-1pm. For information or to donate online visit the website: www.harvestvisionministries.org or to mail donations, they can be sent to the ministry here at 14799 Avon Allen Rd, Mount Vernon, WA, 98273.
The mission trip is from Saturday, April 5 to Friday, April 18. We will be sharing the testimonies from our trip at the Salt and Light fellowship on Sunday, April 27 at 3pm starting with a potluck. You are welcome.
