We are looking forward with anticipation for our Salt & Light fellowship tomorrow, Sunday, March 30th as we get together for our 3pm potluck, until 3:45, then our praise, sharing and prayer. We meet at the Garden of Eden family ministry fellowship center, 14799 Avon Allen Rd, Mt. Vernon. WA. We will also rejoice over our mission to central Africa which has George and Ronaldo leaving on Saturday, April 5 and returning on Friday, April 18. Ronaldo, 18 years old and a senior at Sedro Woolley High School has been actively involved with Harvest Vision for almost 2 years and is serving as our Harvest Kids ministry coordinator and recently came on to our Board. We will be in the Kampala, Uganda area staying with Martin Ochieng and his family that serves as the apostolic leader of the ministry in Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, Burundi and the DRCongo. We will be visiting one of the newer regions that began evangelism, church planting, pastor/leader bible schools and discipleship training about 3 years ago.

We will also be having a Celebration of Life for Kylee Walker who along with her children, built a home for orphaned girls over 12 years ago and founded the Harvest Kids ministry that continues to help vulnerable and orphaned children in central Africa. Kylee helped start the over-all Harvest Vision ministry in 2000 and served on the Board until going to be with the Lord last August at 34 years old. Ronaldo will be working with Suzan the founder of the Comfort Africa and admin coordinator for the over-all ministry to understand how we can better help the vulnerable and orphaned children – recognizing that in Uganda, just a little larger than Washington state, has 44 million people with over half under 14 years old.

We will also be having our 5th conference of all the coordinators from the different regions and nations. We started the conferences 4 years before the pandemic and were unable to continue until now because of the ministry needs here in our own communities. We will be restoring the conferences to help build unity and begin the process of having the coordinators, who have a foundation and understanding of the apostolic calling that God appointed to them are prepared to prayerfully discern others that share in that calling and expand outward from their locations.

We are thankful for those that are sacrificially helping share the love of Jesus to those that are broken hearted and crushed in spirit in our local communities. We are also thankful for those that, along with love and service to those locally, help provide the prayers and financial support to reach those that are even less fortunate than us by supporting missions.

We will be sharing testimonies of our mission and what the Holy Spirit has revealed to us about how we can help our co-laborers in central Africa continue the spreading of the gospel until it has reached all the nations of the world. That will happen after our return on Sunday, April 27th at the same time and location.
