 If I mean to be obedient and submissive to the Lord because He is my Lord, I must not forget that whatever He allows to happen becomes, for me, His Will at the moment.

God’s purpose from the beginning was to not be alone, so He created us.

God’s mission was to become like one of us, yet without sin, then sacrifice Himself for the sin of all mankind, thereby making it possible through faith believing that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life we can accept His forgiveness and step into the loving arms of our Father.

God’s purpose and mission have a church, the Body of Christ, that represents the life and promise of Jesus to all mankind.

Over 20 years ago, I was blessed to join Martin and travel through different nations in central Africa.

The results of my personal fact--finding was brothers and sisters that knew they were:

1. Predestined to be conformed to be like Jesus; (Ro 8:29)

2. Having the same attitude as Jesus who made Himself nothing so He could serve others; (Ph 2:5-7)

3. Denying themselves and picking up their cross daily; (Lk 9:23)

4. Walking as Jesus walked; (1 Jn 2:6)

5. Seeking and saving the lost. (Lk 19:10)

Through the rainy dense jungles on Idjwe Island in the DRCongo to win souls;

Through the deserts of north Kenya and South Sudan to win souls;

Through the humid high mountains in Burundi to win souls;

Through the streets of the capital of Burundi to win souls;

Through the Muslim slums in Kampala, Uganda to win souls;

Through sickness and the loss of family and friends to win souls;

Through the cries of the demon possessed and the lies and threats of witchdoctors to win souls;

To the hungry, thirsty, naked, astranged, in sickness or in prison to win souls;

To the rich, poor, educated, uneducated, deaf, blind or crippled to win souls;

All the time knowing that somewhere right where they were are at the moment might be the last one that will say “Yes” or “No”!. After Jesus submitted His body to provide salvation to all that would believe, He said, “It is finished”. He did not say, “I am finished” but He will when: “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Mt 24:14)
