We are so thankful for our co-laborers that live here in the USA that are willing to pray and walk and serve our co-laborers across the ocean in Africa. Every country that we are involved with is under constant trials and afflictions whether from war and political instability, unsafe water, many times drought and poverty, and no real medical help and out in the bush where most people live, no hospital. As Christian leaders they are also under attack from the witchdoctors and witchcraft along with persecution from many of the Muslim believers. Some of the families sacrifice a term in school and eat sparingly to provide the funds for outreaches that bring the gospel to others in their own communities, and when possible they help fund evangelism and church planting in different regions and even other countries. Even young people and sometimes the children join in praying and fasting for the sake of the gospel. In the 20+ years of ministry in Africa, we hear testimonies of God’s faithfulness even during these difficult times. The irony is that we don’t hear them desiring worldly things and no comments about needing to rest because of being “burned out” or needing a vacation. We are continually grateful to be in partnership doing the Father’s business and would invite anyone that can to join us. They can reach many people for the kingdom and more affordably and we have plenty of work in our own harvest fields in America. We are thankful for the many new believers coming into the kingdom every day. Small outreaches and door-to-door ministry provides the personal discipleship that each one receives. One of the teachings of the Holy Spirit they live by that we have made one of our guiding principles for advancing the gospel. “Spend less – Send more!” We are advancing to include new areas and nations as the Lord has commanded: “Therefore go!.
