Another awesome time at Harvest Kids we crushed cans and hurried up inside because it was cold outside. We washed hands, read the Harvest Kids rules, did the pledge of allegiance to the Christian flag, the American flag as well and counted money, and someone was willing to donate $237 for the Harvest Kids goal. “From a special donor that is so proud of your vision to help vulnerable children in Africa. We are encouraged by your vision and consider it a blessing to partner with all of you”. Because of this donation and all who have donated money and empty aluminum cans for the kids to crush. This will help vulnerable and Orphaned kids in Africa. The Harvest Kids reached their goal of $518 to help the girls net ball team in Uganda Africa to use the uniforms, 6 net balls to do outreach ministries and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Thank you to Odette, she played her guitar as we danced and praised the Lord. One of the Harvest Kids then lead us through the memorization verse which was Galatians 6:9. We then had a lesson on spreading gods love to the broken hearted and crushed in spirit. Demonstrating using cups one cup had a rip in it the other had no rip in it. It was then filled with water, and I asked the Harvest Kids what’s the difference between these two cups “one is leaking one isn’t” they all replied. I told them that the water represents Gods love and the cup is us. Sometimes we like to keep all of God’s love to ourselves, when we don’t share God’s love no one else gets to experience what that love feels like. Gods love should be spread everywhere we go because there are broken people out there. The Harvest Kids helped each other pray a blessing for the food and we ate and broke bread together and played the M&M game. The Harvest Kids also sang the happy birthday song to all the Kids in Africa whose birthdays are in January but don’t remember. From the womb to 99 years old it doesn’t matter what age you are, come join us we have Harvest Kids every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month.  Feel free to bring your empty Aluminum cans. It’s from 11am – 1pm the address is 14799 Avon Allen Rd. Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
