It started with a vision given to Pr. Charles
to build a Christian primary school in Kayunga, Uganda.
After many Muslims converted, the church building had to be expanded, leaving the small building. Plans were made and the Harvest Kids in the USA wanted to help.
The response from the Muslim community was that if there was a school, they wanted their children to attend.
Charles asked the government to allow him to start the school in the old church building while constructing the school. They agreed on condition the building be refurbished and the actual school would be completed before the end of 2021.
The kids helped with the money to refurbish the building and purchase textbooks for the school that started June 6th, with 80 children, 35 from the Muslim neighbors.
The property was purchased, and the kids have raised the money with the help of the garage and produce sale to start the building and put on the roof.
The garage and produce sale will continue, Tue-Sat, 9am-5pm, through August at 9467 Pierce Lane, Sedro Woolley, WA to raise the remaining $4,200.
We would appreciate your support of these young people that are willing to make a difference to these vulnerable children on the other side of the globe.
