Another awesome Spirit-led and Spirit-filled day in our journey of faith.
We have been blessed to have received testimonies from our co-laborers in Africa including this report for September from Pr. Evariste, the Burundi Africa coordinator.
Today I (George) got my splint removed from my hand surgery last Wednesday; Linda and I were blessed to spend 4 hours at the pro-life prayer vigil at Planned Parenthood; pick fresh produce and paint the floor on the new shed at the Garden of Eden family ministry in west Mt. Vernon; join with Elisabeth Waldron and others for the Jericho prayer march in Burlington and fellowship at one of the home church families. We are blessed that we are on this journey with other believers in our community that love God and consider others more than themselves.
We have experienced about every emotion anyone can imagine in these last 25 years and some of them (like worry or doubt) are sadly without excuse, just evidence of our faith wavering. The two things that we have not experienced are “burnout” or “boredom”.
What an incredible journey living to share the love of Jesus with those that are “broken-hearted and crushed in spirit”
(Psalm 34:18)
