This marks the start of a new season with Harvest Kids
After nine years, we had our first Harvest Kids meeting at the new location in Mt. Vernon.
The Garden of Eden family ministry is at
14799 Avon Allen Rd Mt Vernon WA
where George and Linda will live.
We spent some time talking about the changes,
including how we would be crushing and storing the cans that people donate.
Cans can be dropped off at the Garden of Eden
or
Stan Wing’s shop
at
2009 Wing Lane Sedro Woolley WA
(heading east of Hwy 20)
We are also available to pick up cans
and
will be identifying some other locations in Sedro Woolley where cans can be brought.

After saying good morning to the animals in the petting zoo,
we counted our donations for the primary school in Africa.
This included $140 that we got for 400# of cans we just took to recycle.
The garage sale at the Garden will be Thur-Sat through August
All the money for the produce and hazelnuts will be going directly to the school.
We only have $768 to go to finish this phase of the new classrooms.
We are putting some new doors into the fellowship center so we talked to
the kids about the doorframes that the new doors will be put in.
We read Deuteronomy 6:4-9 which commanded us to
teach the children the way that God’s Word tells us to live.
