“Harvest Vision Fellowship Curlew is located in Curlew, Washington close to the Canadian border and is a place of refuge for people who are suffering from the loss of a loved one, marital difficulties, divorce and other crises that can overwhelm people. When we have the Lord in our lives it doesn’t stop life from happening and it sure doesn’t mean we are exempt from tragedies that are a part of everyone’s lives. The ministry was started after the life of my daughter was taken in an accident caused by a drunk driver a few years ago. Pastor John & Lena Seaman”
Many thanks to Isaac and Thomas for traveling with George to encourage and be encouraged by John and Lena. Lot’s of snow and ice and the weather was 18 degrees while we were there. It is always a blessing to be reminded of the vision that these two saints were given and to bring food over that they distribute to families in need in the community and scattered in the mountains. We were able to catch them up on some firewood, do some work on some equipment and frame in a building for a future bathroom and food storage place. John showed us the new waste oil burner he built to save on the need to have firewood and it is always a blessing when the wild deer come to check on the visitors and get a snack. We are looking forward to some future mission trips to help John and Lena with drilling a well, building some more accommodations for people that the Lord brings to be counseled and comforted, start a garden and some other projects that will help the ministry better meet the needs of the community and others that the Lord brings to partner in ministry and those that need time to regroup, refocus and heal. Thanks to everyone that prays and provides the financial support to help our co-laborers scattered throughout the world.
