The devil has a world-wide “web” he has been given constructed not by him but by man’s carnality and choices. Jesus said the kingdom of heaven is like a net. Both real. One is in the flesh and very visible and we are “affected” by it – but those that are born again are no longer “infected” by it. The problem for those that have not been redeemed is that His Church is together, not by power and might, as the world measures those things, but rather by Spirit.
“Faith is being ‘sure’ of what we hope for and ‘certain’ of what we cannot see.”

“Once again, the kingdom of heaven is like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish When it was full, the fishermen pulled it up on the shore Then they sat down and collected the good fish in baskets, but threw the bad away. This is how it will be at the end of the age. The angels will come and separate the wicked from the righteous and throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.“ Matthew 13:47-50
