Many thanks for everyone that continues to pray for the ministry in Mexico and for Linda as she encourages Miguel, Olivia and the Harvest Vision family south of the border. About two years ago, Luis and Norma began to help Miguel and Olivia with over-seeing the ministry and they also purchased a small property in an area that the city opened up in the outskirts of the city. They began to visit the location to witness to the few people that came to homestead and began to have some outreaches on the barren plot of land. God has now blessed them with a structure they will continue to be used for church fellowship as they also prepare it as a place for their own home. The structure was built in March by a mission team from Oregon.
Linda has also traveled with Miguel, Olivia and their family to a ejido about two hours south of San Luis in a place called Rumorosa where Miguel’s family lives and they have also hosted a women’s conference with the women that attend the annual women’s retreat that Linda has hosted for the last 10 years or so. Today, they visited with the El Centro de Suenos (Dream Center) church family that we partnered in ministry with when we first were called to San Luis over 20 years ago.
Linda will be leaving the funds that are needed to replace the tires on the white van and one of the tires on the worship trailer that are loaned to different church families for outreach ministry and also the money needed for the registration and plates for the mission truck. Please pray that we can soon come up with the financial support needed to paint the mission home complex and finish the stairway over the sewing ministry room.
