Many of us are familiar with the song,
“This little light of mine, I’m going to let it shine.”
It is a wonderful and encouraging reminder
of the promise that we have been given
through the forgiveness our faith in
Jesus Christ
has given us.
In order for us to trust in any promise – we must know the person making the promise is able to accomplish what they have promised, and we must know the person cannot lie. Jesus promised we would be the light and that light would bring others out of the darkness. God is holy and cannot lie. Jesus, who is God, became flesh, was tempted and remained sinless, then offered that body as the sacrifice for the sin of all mankind. Then He was raised from the dead and when we have faith in Him that resurrected life is given to us and comes as light into our sinful and darkened body.
We just received the testimonies from our co-laborers in central Africa.
In December, they coordinated 25 outreaches to those living in darkness in different communities around their homes and over 1,600 people now have a relationship with our true Father.
We pray that each one of you reading this post, felt that joy whenever each one crossed over from death to life.
Our Father rejoices over each one, every time it happens throughout the world. The joy of the Lord is our strength. If anything is praiseworthy or excellent – think about such things.
What we allow to influence us is what we become, because that is what we are choosing to worship.
Choose wisely.
