We received this testimony this morning from Pr. Kennedy, who coordinates ministry in central Uganda in Africa. After starting door-to-door evangelism in this district outside of Kampala, Uganda, the Lord prompted him to help them start a church fellowship.
“Today we had the 52nd baptism event since 3rd, November, 2021 when we started Lake Kyoga Harvest Church Fellowship -Kaliro. It’s a joy seeing people giving their lives to Jesus Christ every other week and baptisng them after every Sunday service. Now days, the community named us “THE CHURCH THAT BAPTISES.” because after every Sunday service, we all go down to the lake singing songs and baptise the new believers of the week. So people named the church “THE CHURCH THAT BAPTISES”. It’s a blessing to baptise all these believers in Kaliro being that there is a very big heretic cult that denies baptism by immersion in water. They say it ended with the apostles, so claim our generation gets baptised by the Holy Spirit alone. We baptise people in water and Jesus Christ baptises them with the Holy Spirit and Fire.”
