Susan
the admin coordinator for
Harvest Vision Ministries Africa,
founded Comfort Africa
as a young Christian woman
before we started
Harvest Vision in Africa
in 2005

Madilyn and Hailey
traveled to Africa when
they were 5 & 3 years old in 2013.
They came back to
started crushing cans
and gathering donations to
help meet the basic needs of
orphaned and vulnerable children in
central Africa.
This included building schools
providing supplies
clean water
farmland
and other needs.
About 6-7 years ago,
Harvest Kids
made a commitment to also
donate $100/month
specifically to support
the Comfort Africa ministry.
Many thanks to our many donors
throughout northwest Washington
that donate their aluminum cans
to help our local kids reach out
and touch their
young brothers and sisters that live in
Africa.
10,000 miles on the other side of the ocean.
Comfort Africa for years has been on a mission to support vulnerable households especially the children and women at risk in the area of lack of basic needs like clothing, food, scholastic materials, and school fees.
Comfort Africa has tirelessly looked for ways to meet the basic needs of orphaned and other vulnerable children that have been taken into families that have been willing to make them a part of their families. This has been done through out-sourcing individuals with the heart of supporting vulnerable children and organizations with the same goal.
Through this movement, children meet and share their lives with caretakers, and through their interactions, everyone’s lives are being transformed.
We create days of harmony and moments of joy together.
We share our love and care together with storytelling and create team building within us.
Harvest Kids
meet on the 2nd & 4th Saturday
of each month from 11 am-1:30 pm
