USA – Kids helping kids, March 10, 2023

“This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers (and sisters). If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother (or sister) in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words and tongue, but with actions and in truth.”

(1 John 3:16-18)

Thanks to all of you who help and support the Harvest Kids as they share the love of Jesus with the orphaned and other vulnerable children in central Africa. Thanks for those that donate the aluminum cans they crush and recycle to get donations and for their family and friends that help them gather change to donate to fund the “Change the World” projects they support. They are currently raising money to finish building the Harvest Doves primary school in Kayunga, Uganda. We meet together the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month from 11am-1:30pm at the Garden of Eden family ministry fellowship center at 14799 Avon Allen Rd in west Mount Vernon. We are meeting this Saturday, March 11th to encourage one another in our journey of faith by learning more from God’s Word and building relationships with one another which involves fun, games and inter-active songs and sharing. And always involves a trip outside to the playground and visit the animals in the petting zoo.

Although we have a small crew of volunteers that support kids, we would like to help everyone that would like to be involved. Please give us a call (360-421-8811 or 360-421-8812) if you want more information or may need help with transportation. We will make every effort we can to help these kids help the kids. You can also find out more information on the www.harvestvisionministries.org website.

“O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your Name in all the earth! You have set Your Glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants You have ordained praise because of Your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.”

(Psalm 8:1-2)
