USA – Harvest Kids with Child’s Evangelism Fellowship, October 10, 2020

Many thanks to all the adults and youth that help these young people to grow in the Lord and help them make a difference in the lives of less fortunate children in our community and around the world.

Before the fellowship this morning, we received photos and testimonies from Pr. Patrick who founded the Nalidi Grace primary school in eastern Uganda where the kids just sent money for mosquito nets, sheets and food. What a blessing to share this.

This morning was cold and cloudy, but these young people crushed cans and added their change to the bullet they are filling to help build another primary school for orphaned and vulnerable children in another part of Africa.

Anthony guesses the closest to the weight of “Moby Pumpkin” (56#), the biggest harvested from the Garden of Eden farming project in West Mt. Vernon.

After lunch, Lynn Griffin and Ella, from Child’s Evangelism joined us with a wonderful message focused on the wonders of God’s creation looking at the different planets and stars. Throughout her sharing the “Word up” that everyone chimed in with when prompted was: “Trust God, He is in control!”

She also shared about a young woman who was born with facial deformities and even though she was shunned by many, became a missionary to the Navajo people for over 45 years sharing the love of Jesus with everyone she met.

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’ And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

She then shared about the life of Johannes Kepler, a young boy from Germany, that faced similar problems in his entire life but God gave him passion and wisdom to understand astronomy and relate it to the God that created everything in the universe and the law and order which He used to create it and the laws which govern it to this day.

“The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” Psalm 19:1
