We are looking forward to hosting the Child’s Evangelism Fellowship prayer luncheon today, Thursday, March 9th from 12:30-2pm here at the Garden of Eden family ministry fellowship center, 14799 Avon Allen Rd, Mount Vernon. It is a blessing to pray for and with these faithful prayer warriors that sacrifice so much to reach children in our community with the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Later in the evening, we will be breaking bread together starting with a potluck at 6pm, then showing and sharing about the last of the “Fear of the Lord” study sessions by John Bevere. Saturday morning from 11am-1pm we will be having the Harvest Kids. Thanks to everyone that let’s their kids come and learn more about their journey of faith with Jesus and work together to help meet the needs of people in our community and the orphaned and other vulnerable children in central Africa.

We have an afternoon fellowship every Sunday at 3pm at the Garden of Eden family ministry fellowship center at 14799 Avon Allen Rd in west Mt. Vernon. After joining together in praise and worship, sharing the Word of God and our personal testimonies and praying, we break bread together at a potluck meal. The gathering is referred to as “Salt and Light” and the sign above the door leaving the fellowship center says: “You are now entering the mission field!”

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

(Mt 5:13-16)

“What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church.”

(1 Corinthians 14:26)

We are make every effort to devote ourselves fully to living by God’s Word, the fellowship, breaking of bread and prayer. We enjoy testimonies of God’s miraculous intervention in our lives and strive to live out the theme of the new testament church given in.

(Acts 2:42-46)

Everyone – Everything – Everyday!

Let no one go to the grave with their song still in their heart.

You are welcome.
