Our prayers are with each of you and the entire world as we endure the trials of this time of testing. There is no escaping the shaking that God is allowing to happen. It is during this time that those of true faith appreciate the gift of eternal life and feel the pain of our Father in heaven who knows many of His Children will be extending the separation they have chosen from Him onward to eternity. Trust God and lean not on your own understanding. For those that have died to themselves and received the free gift of the resurrected Jesus Christ have had their lives sealed with the precious Holy Spirit.
Our Legacy
When the world (Egypt) was warned of upcoming destruction, they were sent someone (Joseph) to rescue them. After the rescue, Joseph and his family (Israelites), were welcomed to live in Egypt. After Joseph died, his family had multiplied and the land was filled with them. The new king (Pharaoh) said they are now to many and because they were afraid of them made them slaves. In order for them to be set free, the Lord commanded them to go into their homes with their families and take the blood of the Lamb, which they must share with their neighbor and put it over their homes. When the angel of death passed over all Egypt, He did not permit the destroyer to enter their home and strike them down.
The Israelites were set free from slavery, laden with gold and silver, bodies healed and their enemies destroyed. (Gen 41-50, Ex 1-14, Ps 105:37)
Remember that Jesus redefined “home” and “family”.
“While Jesus was still talking to the crowd, His mother and brothers stood outside, wanting to speak to Him. Someone told Him, ‘Your mother and brothers are standing outside, wanting to speak to You.’ He replied to him, ‘Who is My mother and who are My brothers?’ Pointing to His disciples, He said, ‘Here are My mother and My brothers. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother.” (Mt 12:46-50)
If any true believer’s physical presence is removed through the current global virus, they will continue to be with the Lord.
“Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet My unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor My covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” (Isaiah 54:10)
The present circumstances are for the building of the Body of Christ.
“Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regrets, but worldly sorrow brings death.” (2 Cor 7:10) “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘These people say, ‘The time has not yet come for the Lord’s house to be built.’ Then the word of the Lord came through the prophet: ‘Is it time for you yourselves to be living in your paneled houses, while this house remains a ruin?’ Now this is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Give careful thought to your ways. You have planted much, but have harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.’ {Prosperity message} This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘Give careful thought to your ways. Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build the house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,’ says the Lord. ‘You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?’ declares the Lord Almighty. ‘Because of My house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with his own house {denomination/ministry} . Therefore, because of you the heavens have withheld their dew and the earth its crops. I called for a drought on the fields and the mountains, on the grain, the new wine, the oil and whatever the ground produces, on men and cattle, and the labor of your hands.’ This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘The silver is mine and the gold is mine,’ declares the Lord Almighty. ‘The glory of this present house will be greater than the glory of the former house,’ says the Lord Almighty. ‘And in this place I will grant peace,’ declares the Lord Almighty.”
(Haggai 1:2-11, 2:6-9)
Jesus said, “I know your good deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles and are not and have found them false. You have persevered and have endured hardships for My name, and have not grown weary.”
We only need examine ourselves. Are our good deeds and hard work for the sake of reaching the lost, broken-hearted and crushed in spirit or these only done in a way that we can benefit ourselves? What are our idols that have more importance and influence in our lives and prevent us from denying ourselves for the sake of the gospel and righteousness? Have we become tolerate to wickedness? Abortion? Sexual immorality? Do we follow leaders who are seeking personal fame and wealth?
Even if your conclusion is that you can stand before the living God and say it is well with my soul in regard to these things…He would still say: “Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken your first love. Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first. If you do not repent, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place. He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.” (Rev 2:2-7) “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves…..lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.” (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
God’s Promise
“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
