John 13:1-17 describes the time before the Cross
when Jesus
“showed His disciples the full extent of His love.”
Jesus knew the time was now (vs 1); Jesus knew that the Father had put all things under His power (vs 3);
Jesus knew that He had come from God (vs3);
Jesus knew that He was returning to God (vs 3);
Jesus knew who was going to betray him (vs11).
