Pr. Simon Lobei Ndori was born in Samburu County of South Rift Valley of northern Kenya. His father was stolen as a child by one of the warring tribes and was raised with them, where he eventually married and Simon was born. Because of that he has no history of his relatives. The blessing of that circumstance is that he knows 8 different languages.

Eight of 47 districts in Kenya make up the NFD (Northern Frontier District). Five of the districts border the Samburu District and represent tribes that have a history of warring against each other. The region is very dry and people live nomadically (moving for food & water) or are isolated in groups that live in manyatas (stick huts) with long distances between them and others. This makes transportation and communication very difficult.

Pr. Simon began work as the HVA coordinator in August 2015 and now has planted many church families in these remote areas of Turkana, Rendile, Samburu and also one in Ethiopia. His vision for the equipment in Samburu is to reach the unreached groups of people in Kenya like the Rendile, Turkana, Boran and Samburu, moving from village to village through making crusades, seminars and film shows. Simon is praying for another coordinator so they can be more effective in the large desert region that needs to be reached.
Message from Simon January 2026.

“We are doing well in the ministry and explore the northern Kenya and southern Ethiopia to evangelize and plant church families. Please we need your assistance to help support a coordinator in Ethiopia as our coordinator, Southern Ethiopia showcases immense diversity, from the small, isolated communities of the Omo Valley to larger, established nations within the SNNPR (Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples), all part of Ethiopia's >80 distinct ethnic groups. For those in many of the refugee camps in Kenya and Ethiopia life is a struggle due to the inoperative support towards refugees living in camps since 95% of the residents were depending on UN and other agencies. Now the hope of living in the camps is very little and food is becoming like medicine.

We thank God for the golden opportunity to make outreach and be a life in the midst of the most hostile people.
We thank God for achieving his goal of winning souls through our humble, obedient and persevering men and women of peace.

We thank God for his Devine protection.
Simon.”
