Africa- Discipling New Believers, March 17, 2023

Jesus said there would be a new Spirit poured out on all people and they would overcome by the Blood of the Lamb, the word of their testimony and would not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. Truly submitted and committed to be bread broken and wine poured out of a new wineskin. We were grateful to talk with Pastor Martin who directs Harvest Vision Ministries in Africa today and hear the testimonies of those that are making decisions to quit their jobs so they can go and help disciple new believers, even if it means they may only have one meal a day. We know that it isn’t everyone but it is necessary to see that spirit of sacrifice being willingly poured out so that another soul may come into their rightful inheritance. We are prayerfully considering how we might get our evangelists and teachers in Africa the opportunity to come on missions to our community here. Please join us in prayer that the Lord will release some financial provision that we have had tied up in purchasing land that can be redirected to help fund more of the evangelism, pastoral teaching and disciple making needs in the communities of these nations in central Africa. Please pray for the Christian community here in the USA. Jesus described a seed that grew but the worries of the world and deceitfulness of wealth made it unfruitful. Or as the great theologian. A.W. Tozer, said: “A whole new generation of Christians has come up believing that it is possible to ‘accept’ Christ without forsaking the world.” Harvest Vision is committed to the vision of a revival of fire starting at the source of the Nile River in Uganda and lighting up the entire African continent for the whole world to see. Be faithful to the vision! We love you with every breath and every heartbeat. God is incapable of inaction as long as there is one soul left to be saved.
