USA – This is the day the Lord has made, June 17, 2020

“This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” (Psalms 118:24)

What a wonderful day that just finished with our fellowship at house church.

Many thanks to Pr. Lee and Robert who brought supplies from the food bank to support the kids that Grandma Carolyn takes care of at a local trailer park. Over 22 children and some of the parents have accepted Jesus since she started spending time with the kids and families.

We received the soccer nets that will be put on the new soccer goals at the Garden of Eden project in west Mt. Vernon and we also received beautiful butterflies that will now be put on the branches with the birds for the bird on a branch ministry. Over 60 of these, along with home made cookies, have been given to neighbors and friends as a source of encouragement and hope for them during these uncertain times. Lot’s of great testimonies about how important these simple gifts have meant to different people.

We were also blessed by Pr. John from Curlew who was given a hospital bed. Our neighbor, Veronica, has a disabled friend who lives in Mt. Vernon and uses a wheelchair in her trailer and sleeps on the sofa. We will be making a quick run to Curlew on Saturday to pick up this special gift. We also wired the money to help our coordinator in El Salvador increase their family business so they can generate enough income to pay for their needs. This will allow Pr. Sergio to travel around the country and help prepare and equipment leaders to evangelize and teach new believers to become true disciples.

We received testimonies from our coordinator in San Luis, Mexico today and they were able to use the worship trailer to help a church family do an outreach in the city. This is the first time the worship trailer has been able to be used since the pandemic began. We are thankful for those that came to salvation and for the believers that had the courage to step out in faith.
