Satan said – I will come back at a better time, March 25, 2020

After Satan had tempted Jesus in the wilderness, angels came and attended Him, but Satan left Him to come back at a more opportune time.

Prophetically, the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem in the days of Nehemiah (Nehemiah 1-6) represent the coming of our Savior, Lord and King, Jesus Christ. The enemy has continued to come against the Body of Christ in the same pattern as He did in those days. But after much opposition and constant threats and attacks of the enemy the wall was completed.

“When the wall was completed, all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized this work had been done with the help of our God.” (Nehemiah 6:15-16)

The last attempt to sabotage the completion of the wall is found in Nehemiah 6:10-13.

“One day I went to the house of Shemaiah son of Delaiah, the son of Mehetabel, who was shut in at his home. He said, ‘Let us meet in the house of God, inside the temple, and let us close the temple doors, because men are coming to kill you.’ But I said, ‘Should a man like me run away? Or should one like me go into the temple to save his life? I will not go!’ I realized that God had not sent him, but that he had prophesied against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. He had been hired to intimidate me so that I would commit a sin by doing this, and then they would give me a bad name to discredit me.” Jesus said, “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
