“How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity.” (Psalms 133:1)
Miguel and Olivia, the Harvest Vision Ministries Mexico coordinators, traveled to south Mx to spend a few days visiting and encouraging Obed and Sury, the HVM coordinators that live in Michoacan. They were able to enjoy the family and listen to Obed and Sury as they shared their vision of the future work that they will be involved with as they continue to get direction from the Holy Spirit for their home and the communities in their sphere of influence. Later, Miguel and Olivia joined with George and Noe who had traveled to El Salvador to visit families and anoint Pr. Sergio and Gloria who will be serving as coordinators to that country. They were able to meet and pray for families around Noe’s father’s home where they will be encouraging believers to begin house church fellowships in their community.
Later we traveled to San Salvador, the home of Pr. Sergio and his family, and were blessed to witness the incredible love they have for one another and the desire they have to use everything given to them to reach others with the gospel. We visited their church fellowship that meets at the city park and shared amongst ourselves about the vision of bringing the body of Christ together through relationships that God has given us. We have many friends and family of people that are from south Mexico and central America that are now “scattered” in Skagit Valley in Washington state and in San Luis along the border of the USA.
What an incredible time of fellowship we had with Ana Munguia, her family and the rest of the Nueve Horizonte Assembly of God church family in Ilopango, San Salvador. Thanks to our friends, Juan Carlos and Mauricio and their families that live in our community in the United States for making this possible and inviting us into their family here in El Salvador. Jesus said, “What God puts together, let no man separate.” This is the New Testament church that’s is given the promise: “And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. AND the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:42-47) Everything, everyone, every day!
What a wonderful reunion as Noe took us to visit his family in San Marcelina, Lapaz. A beautiful home and family. We enjoyed breaking bread with them, visiting the ocean, which is just a short walk away, and joining them for an evening service with their local church family. The presence of God was in their hearts and home and we are confident that the Lord will be using their home to expand the kingdom work in this community.
We are excited about the vision and were blessed with Noe spending an additional week to visit his wife, Nancy’s family in Honduras before traveling back to the USA.
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the arm.” (Isaiah 60:1-4)
