A Word from Pastor (Papa) George

USA – This is the day the Lord has made, June 10, 2020

“This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.”

Wow!  Every day we are filled with awe and see many miracles, signs and wonders.

We finished the soccer goals that are going to the playground at the Garden of Eden farming ministry in west Mt. Vernon.
Linda visited with Cheryl while she weeded some of the rows in the garden and Cheryl will be picking up the aluminum cans that were donated for Harvest Kids on Monday so they can be recycled for the money that the kids use to meet the basic needs of vulnerable children in central Africa.

We are getting low on the “birds on a branch” boxes we use for that ministry, so Dale helped cut enough wood for 30 more boxes, then he traveled to Birdsview to help Armando work on a coop for the chicken ministry that Amber and him are doing with their family.

Many thanks to Lynn from Child’s Evangelism Fellowship for sending us the prayer requests for the upcoming Christian Youth in Action training in Ferndale and the encouraging vision to reach every child in Skagit and Island Counties with the good news of the gospel, trampling on every effort that Satan is using to destroy our youth.

The Apostle Paul said we would be like stars shining in the universe. I pray that everyone would have faith that is sure of what we hope for and certain of what we can not see. If you will pray and open your spiritual eyes and not only look, but actually move into the harvest fields, then you will see the workers because they shine like stars as the love of the Father is poured out in front of everyone in their sphere of influence. This is the greatest time to be a true disciple since the resurrected Christ walked on the face of the earth.

USA – Reaching the lost, June 1, 2020

“In the last days, God says, I will pour out My Spirit on all people.”

After Pentecost and the stoning of Stephen:

“On that day a great persecution broke out against the church in Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Those who had been scattered preached the Word wherever they went.”
(Acts 8:1, 4)

We are blessed to be in contact with our co-laborers in Mexico, El Salvador and the different countries in central Africa, who continue to be thankful for the prayers and support they are receiving from our faithful prayer and financial supporters here in the USA. In spite of the difficulties presented by each country’s reaction to the corona virus, they continue to reach out with the gospel message and are witnessing new believers accepting Jesus Christ and are committed to become true disciples. We just wanted to share this one testimony from Pastor Titus who coordinates ministry in Namayingo in southeast Uganda.

“Glory and honor go back to our dear Lord Jesus Christ who has enabled us to extend His Kingdom to the lost even when the lockdown is seriously hindering us. On 5/10/2020, we had house to house evangelism in Nsono East (3) souls; on 5/22/2020, we had house to house evangelism at Syanyonja North (7) souls; on 5/28/2020, we had house to house evangelism in Syanyonja East (4) souls and on 5/31/2020, we had house to house in Syanyonja A (3) souls. TOTAL 17 souls in the kingdom of Christ. There were instant healings experienced during these missions. Thanks for your prayers and facilitation.”  Pastor Titus

Locally, we are witnessing people taking the opportunity to reach out to people in their sphere of influence who are struggling with their faith and others that are struggling without the knowledge of the love the Father has for them. Church families are beginning to meet together, and others are continuing their ministries to help people that are being overcome by addiction, depression, financial and marital problems, including domestic violence and thoughts of suicide. God is continuing to pour out His Spirit and we are beginning to see the unity of faith and the light beginning to shine more brightly than even before the reaction to the global virus tried to quench the role that God assigned to His Church to share the message of eternal salvation.

USA – One day in the kingdom, June 1, 2020

Another wonderful, joy filled day as we witness the Holy Spirit pouring out His love in many different ways. This morning we were able to help Carolyn as she spreads wood chips out to make the play area for the kid’s club safe and fun for the children of her family that live in her small community.

We were blessed to have Noe join with us today as Cheryl and Linda planted turnips and potatoes and did some weeding along the fence and around the Marion berries at the Garden of Eden farming ministry in west Mt. Vernon.

Thanks to Fred who visited and shared his expertise on how we can plan on improving on the garden this year and in the future.

Today, we also received word from Uganda that they are possibly opening up their public transport this next week. Kennedy, who is our central Uganda coordinator, will be looking for a place to rent so his family can set up their sustainability project which will allow them to sell produce in the market and which will provide an income for his family as he coordinates future outreaches.

We also received a photo from Titus, our east Uganda coordinator, who just purchased his motorbike which will help him as he encourages and supports pastors and church families that live around his community.

It was also a blessing to witness, Augustine, our DRCongo coordinator, as he gave a water filter to a local family, that will allow them to have safe drinking water. Thanks to The King’s Storehouse ministry out of Ferndale, WA that donate them for ministry outreach.

Our day is flooded with divine encounters sharing the love of Jesus through a myriad of circumstances that are meant to quench the Holy Spirit and love that the Father has for all of humankind.

BUT – God’s love never fails!
