A Word from Pastor (Papa) George
The World – Enlarge your territory – November 5, 2020
There is only one thing that has and will always continue to spread unchecked across the globe.
“Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back; lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes. For you will spread out to the right and to the left;, your descendants will dispossess nations and settle in desolate cities. (Isaiah 54:2-3)
Jesus said, “From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.” (Matthew 11:12) “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14).
We have been blessed to start working in concert with Pr. Martin who has been called to fulfill the role of apostolic ministry in central Africa 15 years ago this month. The ministry now includes 11 coordinator’s serving into 7 different countries. The original vision the Lord gave us was to begin ministry at the source of the Nile River, Lake Victoria, and God continues to give us favor and His provision. Over one half of the shores of Lake Victoria, borders to the south in Tanzania, where we have done some sporadic ministry over the years. Pr. Martin over-sees this, including the branch churches in Uganda as well as the Bible schools, except those that Pr. Evariste over-sees in Burundi. Pr. Martin is bringing another pastor to help with the pastoral oversight at the “mother church” in Kibuli in Kampala and has identified another pastor who has been called to help over-see the Bible schools, including the three starting in eastern Uganda, which will give him more time for teaching leaders and expanding the work. The Lord is strengthening the ministry in northern and western Kenya, where the ministry will be registered soon, and which borders Tanzania on the north. We are praying that the needs of Pr. Evariste will soon be met which will allow the ministry in Burundi to continue to grow and also allow him to help expand the ministry to Tanzania. He is in need of a larger car for transporting equipment safely ($3,500), retail business that will help sustain his family and provide additional money to support the expanding of the ministry ($3,500) and additional rooms for teaching and an office at his home ($4,000). As soon as travel is allowed, Pr. Martin will be returning to South Sudan to work with the leadership as they help with evangelizing, teaching pastors and leaders and strengthening or establishing church families to disciple new believers.

Africa – The harvest of souls – November 3, 2020
Africa – The harvest of souls – November 3, 2020
We are so encouraged and grateful for the testimonies from the October outreaches in Burundi. 408 new believers accepted Jesus and 35 have already been baptized. We are praying that they will quickly be taught to be true disciples of Jesus Christ and that many new souls will come into the kingdom through their testimonies.
Jesus said, “But the one who received the seed that fell on good soil is the man who hears and understands it. He produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.” (Matthew 13:23)
That promise would yield either 40,800 or 24,480 or 12,240 new souls.
That is why “teaching them to obey everything Jesus has commanded” is so important. (Matthew 28:20)
There is no crusade or outreach with any more power than one sinner that is made a disciple by repenting and being baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and taught to obey everything that Jesus has commanded. They now have full access to all the authority in heaven and on earth through Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, “And the gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” (Matthew 24:14)

USA – Broken hearted and crushed in spirit – November 1, 2020
Today at the Salt and Light fellowship we shared about our purpose.
“And we know in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of His Son….”
Romans 8:28-29
His purposes to “seek and to save what is lost”
Luke 19:10
and
“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”
Psalm 34:17-18
A beautiful day to join with others praying at the 40 days for life prayer vigil. Interceding in agreement with the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit for the unborn, their mothers and fathers and that everyone that supports abortions will have their hearts transformed to recognize that all lives, born and unborn, matter to our loving Father. Linda then went to fellowship with the Sedro Woolley Community Church and take four more of the Samaritan’s Christmas boxes that the Harvest Kids filled up for less fortunate children in countries where there is great need.
“The first thing God does is get us grounded on strong reality and truth. He does this until our cares for ourselves individually have been brought into submission to His way for the purpose of His redemption. Why shouldn’t we experience heartbreak? Through those doorways God is opening up ways of fellowship with His Son. Most of us collapse at the first grip of pain. We sit down at the door of God’s purpose and enter a slow death through self-pity. And all the so-called Christian sympathy of others helps us to our deathbed. But God will not. He comes with the grip of the pierced Hand of His Son, as if to say, ‘Enter into fellowship with Me; arise and shine.’ If God can accomplish His purposes in this world through a broken heart, then why not thank Him for breaking your?”

USA – Expect and attempt great things for God – November 1, 2020
Carey was preaching from that text in Isaiah, “Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.”
After discussing it thus: Expect great things from God, and attempt great things for God, he had thoroughly moved the congregation. Hearts were taut. The atmosphere of the building was intense with spiritual power. God was present. The preacher called the audience to arise and they were solemnly dismissed.
As they started out, an old man by the name of Fuller cried, “Carey, call them back. Aren’t we going to do anything about it?” The congregation came back. That day was born the modern missionary movement. They sent Carey to India.
Ah, that’s the secret! When moved by God, when the soul looks out in holy vision, do something about it. Step out for God. Too often we are afraid; we move men, we ministers stir them, flame their souls, burn with a God-sent message into their hearts, but we let them go without “doing anything about it.” I would that those words of burning zeal could ring through the souls of all of God’s holy children. The world dies, evil increases, the heat of Divine love burns low in pulpit and pew, but too often we do nothing about it.
Those words challenge us today.
“Enlarge……stretch……lengthen……strengthen.”
(Excerpts from “Answered prayers and soul-winning incidents – published in 1940)
