A Word from Pastor (Papa) George

Africa – Open your eyes and look to the fields they are ripe for harvest – January 9, 2021

We are looking forward to the young people that are a part of Harvest Kids being together this morning as they continue to grow in wisdom and stature as true disciples of Jesus Christ and reach out and help vulnerable children and orphans in Africa. They are sending their money to build another primary school for these children in Uganda.

We also just received photos and testimonies from our co-laborers that are supported by our Harvest Vision Ministries partners here in the USA. Pr. Augustine shared the gospel in one of the schools in the DRCongo and 100 students accepted Jesus and 21 were baptized. Pr. Titus reached out to students in a small school and village in the Namaingo District in eastern Uganda and Pr. David ministered to a school in Gulu, in north Uganda and 31 students accepted Jesus. He also ministered to a family in their home in the Nwoya District and 9 family members were saved and at an outreach in Obiya Highland in Gulu, 19 people were saved after God showed Himself through miracles of healing and deliverance.

Jesus said, “Open your eyes and look to the fields. They are ripe for the harvest.”

The World – The human ladder rescued just a babe from the flames – January 9, 2021

Years ago the parsonage at Epworth, England, was on fire. The minister thought that all the family were safe, when suddenly one of the children appeared at a window, crying to be saved. The peasants made a ladder of themselves by standing one upon the other’s shoulders, and in this way the lad was brought to safety. That boy was John Wesley. Had the ladder failed to be made, the destiny of the world would have been different.

But today there is as great a call for human ladders to reach for the souls of men as there was to reach up to the little lad in the flaming building. And the results in the eternal world will be the same as they were when the men saved the boy Wesley.

Excerpts from “Answered prayers and soul-winning incidents – published in 1940

USA – This little light of mine – January 7, 2021

Even in these challenging times of our faith being tested and strengthening, God’s people continue to bring hope to those that are “broken-hearted and crushed in spirit.” Thanks to those that pray and support our co-laborers in the harvest fields around the world. Just received the testimony of 374 that accepted Jesus in 7 different outreaches in Burundi and 121 have already been baptized. Thanks to those that are reaching out to the unborn, homeless and isolated in their community. Locally, a family had their home burned down and immediately people responded to help. Standing together to support one another, but not at the expense of reaching out to the hungry, thirsty, naked, strangers, sick and in prison and orphans and widows in their distress.
