We are thankful that historically there have been the faithful laborers in God’s harvest fields throughout the world that choose to do the many tasks that God requires to prepare and equip His people for the various acts of service needed to advance His Kingdom.

We are thankful for the ongoing work at the Garden of Eden family ministry in west Mt. Vernon and the Harvest Kids greenhouse and future hydroponics project on the Samish River.

USA – Support for our Africa co-laborers – December 23, 2020

God bless all of our co-laborers in central Africa and we thank you for your partnership in the gospel. We send our Christmas greetings and our pledge to continue to support you in prayer and sharing resources as we look forward to a new year that will bring an even greater harvest of souls into the kingdom. We are wiring the expenses ($8,860) for 1Q of 2021. We are now supporting Nelson Wandira who is the new Bible School and Discipleship Training Teacher that will be working with Pastor Martin to coordinate that over-all ministry. We are happy to welcome Nelson, wife Martha and children into this new season of ministry for them. Please check out the Africa leadership on the website to get to know him better.

We are thankful to be sending the remaining $500 the Harvest Kids raised to refurbish the old church structure so primary school can be started in January in Kayunga, Uganda. We are waiting for the estimate on costs for completing the first phase of the new school on the property that was recently purchased. The agreement with the government was that the school could start using the refurbished structure on condition the new school is completed in 2021. The kids are looking forward to this as their next project to help vulnerable and less fortunate children.

We are also blessed to have received donations ($2,300) that allow us to replace the blown out engine in Pr. Simon’s truck that he uses to reach the tribes scattered throughout the desert region of north Kenya and south Ethiopia. Simon has not been able to complete his missions to these people groups since the first of the year.

In addition, we are sending the funds ($3,500) to replace the vehicle that Pr. Evariste uses to transport the two sets of sound and video equipment that are used every weekend in Burundi to do outreaches. The current vehicle doesn’t have sufficient room, requiring the use of some public transport which is costly and can cause damage to the equipment.

Many thanks to everyone who has supported Walker Motor Works, the used car dealership in Marysville. Over the years, Harvest Vision Ministries has implemented many sustainability projects that were started to provide finances for the ongoing support of our co-laborers in the harvest fields of central Africa. After much time in prayer, Linda and I were led to support Blake and Kylee Walker, our granddaughter, in their effort to establish Walker Motor Works to provide for the future of their family and the other employees and generate financial support long-term for the ministry. Kylee has been actively involved in the ministry since we started 20 years ago. We are confident this seed will generate a harvest of support for the spreading of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the expanding of God’s kingdom. The dealership is located at 9430 State Avenue in Marysville, WA.

Africa – Therefore go and make disciples – December 16, 2020

Even though there are always trials and tribulation, our co-laborers in the harvest fields of central Africa are faithful to obey Jesus command to “Go and make disciples”. As it should be, their understanding of the word “Go” is not a physical command – it is an attitude that establishes their lifestyle. My interpretation is: “Jesus died for me – I live for Him”. The Father simply invites everyone to “Come”. That is the “Come” just as you are come. Jesus simply paid the costs and is the Way to the Father. Even though we do not have the testimonies from all our coordinators for November, they have coordinated 20 crusades or door-to-door ministry outreaches that have witnessed 738 salvations and these new believers are now being taught to become disciples.

We also just received this testimony from Pastor Titus, one of the coordinators in east Uganda from an outreach this week.

“Yesterday, we shared the gospel in Syanyonja primary school where we ministered to 62 students and 3 teachers. The head teacher and all the students received the joy of salvation. The head teacher even went on to invite us next year when schools open to share the gospel again with all the students.

Thanks.”
