A Word from Pastor (Papa) George
Satan said – I will come back at a better time, March 25, 2020
After Satan had tempted Jesus in the wilderness, angels came and attended Him, but Satan left Him to come back at a more opportune time.
Prophetically, the rebuilding of the walls of Jerusalem in the days of Nehemiah (Nehemiah 1-6) represent the coming of our Savior, Lord and King, Jesus Christ. The enemy has continued to come against the Body of Christ in the same pattern as He did in those days. But after much opposition and constant threats and attacks of the enemy the wall was completed.
“When the wall was completed, all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized this work had been done with the help of our God.” (Nehemiah 6:15-16)
The last attempt to sabotage the completion of the wall is found in Nehemiah 6:10-13.
“One day I went to the house of Shemaiah son of Delaiah, the son of Mehetabel, who was shut in at his home. He said, ‘Let us meet in the house of God, inside the temple, and let us close the temple doors, because men are coming to kill you.’ But I said, ‘Should a man like me run away? Or should one like me go into the temple to save his life? I will not go!’ I realized that God had not sent him, but that he had prophesied against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him. He had been hired to intimidate me so that I would commit a sin by doing this, and then they would give me a bad name to discredit me.”
Jesus said, “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

Good fruit or bad fruit, March 22, 2020
Jesus plants a ‘seed’ of faith in each one that enters His rest.
“The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. Though it is the smallest of all seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of the garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches.” (Matthew 13:31-32)
Jesus said: “A good tree cannot bear bad fruit and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 7:18-21)
What types of birds are perched in your tree?
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth.”
“Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink or about your body what you will wear.”
“Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”
“Deny yourself, pick up your cross daily and follow Me.”
“Come to Me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.”
“They did not love their lives so much as too shrink from death.”
Satan plants a seed of fear in our self-centeredness.
It also has birds that come and perch in it.
“Store up for yourselves treasures on earth.”
“Worry about your life, what you will eat and drink and about your body what you will wear.”
“The world is falling apart and I am worried about my family, health, money, possessions.”
“Deny yourself nothing.”
“Take care of yourself.”
“At all costs, make sure that you don’t die.”

“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is not longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:13-16)

Africa – Uganda Update – March 19, 2020
Post from Kennedy, our central Uganda coordinator.
“Yesterday the government stopped all church services and outdoor gatherings in Uganda for 32 days
So no open air crusades for 32 days. So We are shifting the fishing method. We will do 32 days of door to door evangelism and giving out leaflets talking about eternal life. We can all print them out and distribute them for the people to read wherever we will preach in these 32 days. I just left office with my printed documents for photocopy,i meet some men and began teaching them through it. Two of them have received Jesus and promised to go to victory city church for Sunday services. I gave them David’s number. Now I have to go back to office to print other copies for photocopying.”“From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and forceful men lay hold of it.” (Mt 11:12)“On that day a great persecution broke out against the church at Jerusalem, and all except the apostles were scattered throughout Judea and Samaria. Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.” (Acts 8:1, 4)

Africa outreaches – March 20, 2020
We are so blessed and encouraged to share the testimony that our coordinators in central Africa organized 31 outreaches in February and 1,450 new believers were ushered into the kingdom. Wayne and I were blessed to be with the coordinators from Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, Burundi and the DRCongo on March 9th in Kampala, Uganda. We were blessed with testimonies of God’s faithfulness and were able to give them water filters and 260 solar-powered audio bibles in 14 different languages. Later, we visited our coordinator in north Kenya before driving back to Uganda.
Since our return on March 16th, Kenya and Uganda both implemented controls to minimize the impact of the corona virus. We were blessed to receive this response from Kennedy, our central Uganda outreach coordinator, and encouraged how quickly he adjusted to the circumstances and to maintain the mission of the church.
