Miguel and Olivia Esquivel
Over-all Mexico Coordinators

Obed Garcia Pineda & Zury
Guerrero Mexico
Sub-coordinator
In October 2017, Miguel & Olivia accompanied Pr. Jaime & David from Mision Jireh in San Luis, Sonora, to visit with Pr. Obed, his family and other local pastors in Michoacan. Pastor Obed lived in Apatzingan with his wife, Zury, and daughters, Genesis and Sinai. After a subsequent visit from Miguel & Olivia in 2018, they agreed to serve as coordinators for Harvest Vision Ministries. He pastored a church family that met in their home and worked construction. Apatzingan has a population of 100,000 and the city is strongly influenced by the drug trade with much alcoholism, drug addiction, prostitution and the other problems that have left many with little or no hope. Prior to becoming a pastor, Obed was a worship leader. His desire is to reach the lost and he worked with other local pastors to minister in their community, helped with pastor’s and leader’s training, helped start new church families and strengthened existing church families always with the goal of teaching new believers to become true disciples. A sound and video system are available to Obed who is responsible to coordinate its use for the Christian leaders in the community in spreading the gospel.
In 2020, Obed and Zury were called to cross the border to the state of Guerrero and live in the small community of Guayameo. Although they still have ties to the leaders and believers in Michoacan, their primary ministry is to the people that live in the surrounding mountains, many of whom are unable to read. Miguel and Olivia will help over-see this work.

Sergio & Gloria
El Salvador
Coordinators
Sergio was born November 3, 1950 in Ciudad Arce de Liberta in San Salvador. His parents were nominal believers but he was raised with some Christian influence. He met his wife, Gloria, and they were married in 1985 shortly after he became a Christian in 1984. They have five children and a strong faith-filled family. He served in the church and felt called to pastoral ministry in 2000 and currently pastors a small church family in Colonia Miramonte in San Salvador. They fellowship together at a local park and in their homes. Sergio and Gloria share a home with nine family members that all work together to raise their children, operate a small family business and share the expenses and work of maintaining their home.
Noe visited Sergio in the latter part of 2019 to introduce him to the vision of coordinating relationships between people in the USA, Mexico and other countries that have families and friends that are scattered throughout El Salvador. He will be helping prepare and equip God’s people to work together for evangelism, pastoral training, discipleship and church planting (Ephesians 4:11-16).
George and Noe were joined by Miguel and Olivia Estrada, the Harvest Vision Ministries coordinators for Mexico to confirm Pr. Sergio and Gloria’s calling on February 25, 2020.
