Kylee Walker

Harvest Vision Ministries Board of Directors

Founder

along with her daughters,

Madilyn and Hailey of the Harvest Kids ministry

Also Snohomish County (WA) Liaison

Harvest Vision Ministries.

Kylee Wilman was born in Sedro-Woolley, WA

and is the granddaughter of George and Linda Henson,

the founders of Harvest Vision Ministries.

Kylee grew up going to church in Skagit Valley.

She was a member of the first team to San Luis in August 2000.

Kylee had the chance to watch Harvest Vision Ministries evolve and expand

going on 25 mission trips to San Luis, Mexico

and one trip to minister with the First Nations tribes in Alert Bay, BC.

She has a daughter, Madilyn, who was born in June 2008

and has already enjoyed 6 trips to San Luis .

Kylee's daughter, Hailey, who was born in June 2010

has been on 2 of those trips with her mother and sister.

Kylee helped design the website, did local presentations and fundraising.

She has led and planned trips to San Luis.

Kylee joined the Harvest Vision Board of Directors when she was 18

serving as secretary

helping with over-all administrative and financial coordination

ministry over-sight and

served as the Snohomish County Liaison to Harvest Vision Ministries

until she went to be with the Lord on August 28, 2024.

Kylee coordinated the funding for “Madilyn’s House”.

Madilyn's House provided a home for 45 orphan and abandoned girls

that were sleep on the floor of the Canaan Foundation school in Mukono, Uganda.

They were given the name and information of a young orphan

named Peace that was Madilyn’s age

to help raise funds for the project

Peace lived at the school.

Kylee traveled with her daughters, Madilyn (4),and Hailey (2)

to Africa in June 2013 to get acquainted with her “sisters” there,

encourage people to help with the project

and where they all fell in love with Peace.

In November 2013, Kylee represented Harvest Vision Ministries in Africa

for the opening of Madilyn's House and to begin the process for adopting Peace.

Kylee and her daughters started the “Harvest Kids” ministry in July 2013,

after visiting Africa for the first time.

The ministry helps meet the needs of vulnerable children in Central Africa.

Unfortunately, although the adoption was not possible,

Kylee and the kids were able to enroll Peace in school in Kampala

and have paid for her care since that time.

The ultimate goal is to have Peace come and live with the family here in the USA

giving her the opportunity to help grow the interests

and support of co-laborers from here to help

other orphaned and vulnerable children in Africa.

Kylee married Blake Walker in August 2014.

Their daughter Clara was born on April 7, 2015.

They lived in Granite Falls.

Together they operated Walker Motor Works car dealership in Marysville

until it closed in 2022.

Clara and her cousin, Joseph, Keira’s son,

have become an important part of the Harvest Kids ministry.

Later Kylee worked in the insurance business

until she went to be with Jesus in August 2024.

At the present time, Madilyn and Hailey

are living with their father and his family in Moses Lake

Clara is living with Kylee’s sister in Marysville.

We are thankful that Keira, her precious sister and best friend,

has agreed to continue her legacy by serving as the

Snohomish County Liaison to Harvest Vision Ministries.
