Community Outreach
We are so thankful to live in a nation that has afforded us freedom and prosperity beyond many countries in the world and we are blessed to have so many ways in which we can show our appreciation. Thanks to everyone that invites and helps teach the importance of making a positive difference in our community.
The Harvest Kids enjoy helping with projects that the Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group and other environmental groups sponsor such as tree planting and stream restoration. They outreach to the homeless and less fortunate in our community by purchasing items and making cookies to put in bags and have delivered hot corn on the cob with butter. They have made items, such as bracelets, food baskets and flower baskets to give to their neighbors and those that are in the hospital, convalescent center or are shut-in.

Skagit Fisheries Planting Trees

We KNOW we CAN
They love preparing the float and participating in the Sedro Woolley 4th of July parade and helping with the Harvest Vision Ministries booth at the county fair. They make cards to send to those in prison.
Most of all – they share the love of Jesus by appreciating and respecting what God has created and those that we journey through this life with-in our communities.
“Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” (Jeremiah 29:7)
