“Let the little Children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these” (Mathew 19:14). CEF had an outreach at Arbor Park Apartments on February 2 2012 and Harvest Vision along with others who have a heart for children were there to help and support the work that was done through the Holy Spirit. We showed up at 12 to set up the worship trailer, we had a few kids come by and play some games. It started with hula hoops, hacky sack, and then moved into hopscotch and jump rope. George was our famous balloon maker and we had a short game of soccer. Christy from CEF had a program and some songs ready for the kids to hear. After we all heard the story of Rehab the prostitute and her obedience to God we all had a snack and some hot chocolate, Linda Gahan made some delicious oatmeal raisin cookies for the kids too. We got to be with the kids a little longer and play some more games, around 3 we packed up and headed out knowing God was still dwelling in that place and in the hearts of the kids and parents.
