Africa – Independence Day for many, July 2, 2017
The Apostle Paul wrote, “Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.” (1 Cor 9:19, 22-23). What a wonderful day in the USA to be celebrating the nations independence and receive the June testimonies from two of the Harvest Vision coordinators in NW and E Uganda. Christopher and Billy worked with other leaders in organizing 9 outreaches over 28 days where 776 people made their decision to receive the gospel message and are now working toward becoming true disciples of Jesus Christ. Now, these new believers can share this good news with everyone that God puts in their paths. One of the outreaches was a seminar in the DRCongo across the border from NW Uganda where 30 pastors received training and another outreach witnessed 22 believers being baptized after receiving Jesus as their Savior. We thank God for the freedoms that we have to actively support our co-laborers in the harvest fields of central Africa.
