Africa – NW Uganda February outreaches, March 3, 2017
We are so blessed to have Christopher as our coordinator in NW Uganda. This area which borders South Sudan on the north and the DRCongo on the east not only suffers the poverty and sickness of its own residents but also is the home of many refugees that have sought safety from South Sudan and the DRCongo. Because of the conditions (unclean water, no hospitals, little or no food, etc.) in the area the life expectancy for everyone, especially children is short, so the importance of the gospel is paramount. We are grateful to be able to supply sound & video equipment and a small amount of financial support to help Chris with these outreaches. Those prayers and support, combined with the sacrifices that Chris and the other co-laborers are willing to make, ensure the love of Jesus is made available to as many as possible. During the 28 days of February, they coordinated 5 outreaches over 15 days in which 873 people came to faith in Jesus Christ and are now being discipled in local church families. We join with the Father and all the angels in heaven in rejoicing. Jesus said, “I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.” Luke 15:7
Please consider joining with us in prayer and if possible, financially, to help them continue the work of reaching the lost in these communities. You can send donations to Harvest Vision Ministries, PO Box 733, Sedro Woolley, WA, 98284 or electronically by visiting www.harvestvisionministries.org.
