USA – Mexico Springbreak mission trip spaghetti feed & silent auction, March 19, 2017

Thanks to Gabe & Angie Fields, our Mexico coordinators, who helped organize the Mexico springbreak mission team spaghetti feed and silent auction that was held Sunday, March 19th and the many volunteers that helped make this fundraiser a wonderful time of fellowship. The food was tasty and plentiful and there were a variety of auction items donated by many friends of the ministry including fishing poles, cosmetics, framed scriptures and home-made caramel apple pie. There really were some amazing items placed in the auction. As the countdown began, it was fun to witness the “bidding wars” that allowed people to get to know each other. Lot’s of humor and laughter and joy. Relationships were strengthened, new ones were started and faith was shared. Everyone’s donation of time and resources were needed to make this a success. The auction items, the food preparation and serving, the clean-up and the Lyman Baptist church family sharing the use of their facility and everything in between made this a special evening to the glory of our Father in heaven. The event raised $955 to help fund the springbreak team’s mission trip to San Luis, Mexico.
