USA – Thank you, Cecelia, March 1, 2017

We have been so blessed this last week to have our sister, Cecelia Tsosie, from the Four Corners Navajo Reservation visiting with us. We met her right after we started the ministry when she visited San Luis, Mexico with a mission team from her church family on the reservation. She has visited with us here in Washington, joined our women’s retreat in Mexico and we have had the privilege of visiting and ministering with her in Shiprock, Arizona. Thanks to everyone that shared in fellowship with her and we know that we have all been encouraged by her testimony, her genuine and passionate love for Jesus and her desire to share the love of Jesus with everyone that God puts in her path. For those that have not read her first book, we have a copy available at the Harvest Home or they can be ordered on Amazon. It is titled, “Out of the Darkness and Into the Light” and is written under the pen name, Sophia C. Begay. We were blessed with her songs that she shared in her own native Navajo language and with the incredible testimony of her miraculous salvation at a time when she could only imagine suicide as her only escape. God’s provision for her, including during her time to attend bible college at the age of 65, and His faithfulness in taking care of her during the loss of three of her children in the last 15 months. We enjoyed her wit and humor and laughter that were mingled with the tears of sadness as she continues to deal with the loss of the physical comfort of being with her three children at the same time she is spiritually comforted knowing that they are all in the arms of their Father in heaven. We ate, rested, shared God’s word and prayed every morning. She blessed us at the Harvest Home and at house church, at Harvest Kids and with the family outreach at the Children’s Museum, at women’s group and the service with the Lyman Baptist church family, at the Harvest Vision Advisory meeting and even joined the girl’s for the Marysville Madness event at the Pilchuck Event Center in Marysville. Thanks to Rabecca and Joanna that helped get Linda, Cassie and Cecelia packed up for their trip to New Mexico to drop off Cecelia and then continue on to San Luis, Mexico. They will be meeting with Mo from Anacortes to share the love of Jesus with our brothers and sisters in Mexico.
