USA – The Lord is my Rock, March 14, 2017

“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.” (Ps 18:2) “And on this rock I will build My Church and the gates of hell will not overcome it.” (Mt 16:18) “For they drank from the spiritual rock that accompanied them and that rock was Christ.” (1 Cor:4) “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.” (Mt 7:24-25)

Over the years, around Skagit Valley people have found rocks. Not just any rocks, but rocks beautifully painted with words of encouragement and faith from God’s Word. Sometimes with a cross or a handprint. They are found on the beach, at the park, in the flower garden, on the school playground, outside the store or inside the laundromat. There are many testimonies of strangers who have been prompted to pick up one of these and to have their day and in some cases their entire life miraculously altered. The most important ingredient that makes these “rocks” different is the love of the Master, our own Savior, Lord and King – Jesus Christ. We are blessed to have Harvest Kid angels that are always “about their Father’s business”.

Little ones, with little rocks, with great love. Maybe it’s time that you, “Open your eyes and look to the fields!” And don’t be surprised when they are found with some older angels and that they may be painting more than rocks.
