Africa – Pr. Isaac back in Uganda & Burundi report, Feb 6, 2017

What an amazing morning. Even as the ground here in Washington is covered with a blanket of fresh snow, we are blanketed with good news from our co-laborers in Central Africa. Josias, the son of Pr. Isaac, just sent a message that his father just arrived back in Uganda after his surgery in India. We are so thankful that God provided for this miracle and are praying for a complete healing so he can continue to advance the gospel and teach in the DRCongo and Uganda. We thank everyone for the prayers and financial support and the caregivers that God equipped to do the surgery and take care of him. We also received the testimony of God’s faithfulness from Pr. Evariste, the coordinator in Burundi. Six outreaches were held in Burundi in January that witnessed 308 people come to salvation and 59 new believers were baptized. Evariste has also confirmed leaders in 8 provinces that have assumed the responsibility to organize the programs in their communities. Evariste will ensure the sound and video equipment is brought for the outreaches and the leaders will ensure the new believers are discipled in the local church families in their community. Please also pray for Evariste and the 55 pastors and leaders that are currently being trained in the Bible college there. Thanks to everyone that prays and supports these co-laborers.
