Africa – Prossy testimonies from N Uganda, Feb 8, 2017
We are so thankful for the coordinators that continue to faithfully work with different church families in their communities to reach the lost and ensure new believers are taught to become true disciples in existing or new local church families. We are blessed to have Prossy as our co-laborer and coordinator for the north Uganda area. She has been faithfully helping Pr. John Light, our South Sudan coordinator, and his family who are living as refugees in north Uganda even as he is being treated for tuberculosis. We are praying that he will be able to return safely to South Sudan by April to continue his ministry to bring church families together to reach the lost, train and equip leaders, strengthen existing church families, help start new church families and disciple new believers. Between helping meet Pr. John’s needs and having the traditional “introduction” ceremony that is held prior to her wedding the middle of March, she was able to coordinate one outreach that 300 people attended and 53 people accepted Jesus. We are so thankful for her being one of our “witnesses”.
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12:1-3
