Africa – Testimonies of God’s healing mercies, Feb 14, 2017

We are so blessed to get an update from Pr. Martin, Director of Harvest Vision Africa, on the health of three of our coordinators that have, with their families, suffered through some very difficult physical problems. Pr. Isaac, our DRCongo coordinator, currently on refugee status in Uganda has suffered the last year with chronic pain because of the bad discs in his neck. He traveled to India for surgery where they replaced two discs and we are blessed to report that he is back in Uganda, walking and the pain is gone. He is still in need of prayer because of ulcers that have been effected because of all the pain medication he received during the year prior to the surgery. Pr. John Light, our South Sudan coordinator, and his family are living in Gulu, Uganda on refugee status where he has been receiving treatments for tuberculosis and loss of blood. He is out of the hospital, able to eat and his health is improving. Please continue to pray that in the next month or two he will be able to return with his family to war-torn South Sudan to continue his ministry there. Pr. Billy, our E. Uganda coordinator, was recently diagnosed with extreme kidney problems, and with the support of the prayers and financial donations of our co-laborers in Africa and in the USA started the seven weeks of treatment and his health is already improving. Pr. Martin is currently meeting with local pastors in Kampala to encourage and better train them for the work they have called to do in evangelizing, discipiling new believers and encouraging their church families
