USA – “Harvest Kids Child Evangelist Fellowship”, Feb 11, 2017
We were blessed with another fruitful day of fellowship with many young disciples. Mark 10:14 “Let the little children come to me”. We are full of thanks to all of those that pray and support these young disciples in their diligence to raise money to help vulnerable children in Africa. We started out our time together learning a team building exercise utilizing hula hoops in an unbroken circle, passing everyone through the hoop working as a team without breaking the chain of hands. They had learned to help one another as a family in Christ even when there were up to three hoops added to the circle going in different directions. The children then learned scriptures by reading them aloud to one another they were written on Jenga blocks that were created by His children. This was followed by worship led by Dina, singing “How great is our God”. We were unable to crush cans due to not having many. Cans can be dropped off at 9467 Pierce Lane, Sedro Woolley, WA 98284 The kids then were blessed with an awesome lesson by Wayne Watne about the importance of the things done by them here and how it helps the children in Africa. With an awesome combined effort, they filled the bullet for the 1st time in 2017. After lunch, we were joined by Lynn Griffin, who currently serves as the Director of Child’s Evangelism Fellowship, she brought the kids a lesson that helps teach them the gospel through memorization of scripture by singing, dancing and prayer. The kids were excited to be able utilize their Bibles that was given to them at the last gathering. While the kids enjoyed soaking up the word God placed on Lynn’s heart to teach them, the parents went inside to separate & count the funds collected by them. It is always glorifying God to see the growth and changes witnessed in and by all in these young lives daily. Mathew 18:3 “Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven”. We then wrapped up our afternoon by adding Amber’s handprint to the tree on the wall. What an awesome day of events to be honored in sharing His words with our young.
