USA – Harvest Kids with Child’s Evangelism Fellowship, Jan 14, 2017
We are thankful as always for everyone that prays and supports these kids as they come together to share their love for Jesus with each other and to raise money to help vulnerable children in Africa. Thanks also to the parents and guardians that allow their children to come and to the adults that take the time to come and invest in these young people’s lives. It was cold outside, but we gathered and played the Jenga game, pulling the blocks out and reading scripture, until the tower of blocks fell. Then, we crushed a few cans and put our coins in the “bullet” and spent some time thanking God for Christie Wolff, from Child’s Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), who has invested so much time in the children the last two years but will no longer be able to help in that way because of her living so far away. The kids made up some cards that will be sent to her. It is always amazing to see how each one uses their own creativity to communicate their thoughts and feelings. After lunch, Lynn Griffin, who currently serves as the Director of Child’s Evangelism Fellowship, brought the kids an interactive lesson that helps teach them the gospel and helps them to memorize scripture, sing, dance and pray. It is a blessing to witness these young people being transformed week after week. Jesus is the great news! Jesus is the promised one! Thanks for the aluminum cans. They can be dropped off at 9467 Pierce Lane in Sedro Woolley.
