"It is not on what we spend the greatest amount of time that molds us the most, but whatever exerts the most power over us." Oswald Chambers
God's word promises that if we "confess our sins one to another we can be healed." We can be doing a lot of activities that God wants us to do to honor Him - from reading and studying His word, praying, reaching out to others and fellowship with other believers - but it doesn't please Him when we are doing it while we have something in our heart that influences us more than God Himself. What we truly worship is not determined by how we use our time, resources or gifts - but what honestly influences our heart and mind. God knows and we need to seriously examine ourselves to ensure we are being led by the one and only Holy Spirit. Is there anything that competes with your peace of mind and has taken a pre-eminent place in your life? What bothers you when you try to rest or stop moving? What does your mind keep wandering to when you want to focus on what is at hand including God Himself. Now is the time to be free. Ask God and He will reveal it to you. Cast it on Him and then cut the giants head off by confessing it to another believer in the fellowship.
