As the kids go, so goes the Church.
We are blessed to serve a God that understands and directs our steps according to His good pleasure. As the Church, we are the Body and Jesus is the Head. Our heart is to complete the mission He has given us and His desire is that infants be raised in a family of believers that will be obedient to fulfill their responsibility to: "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." (Pr 22:6) That at the earliest age, they would make their own choice to accept the free gift of life offered through Jesus and become His true disciples. We are looking for even more opportunities to strengthen the Church by building around our responsibility to our children and youth. It's going to be a great Spirit-filled summer and future, locally and in Canada, Mexico and Africa.
"Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven? ' He called a little child and had him stand among them. And He said, 'I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child in My name welcomes Me. But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea." (Mt 18:1-6)
"O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens. From the lips of children and infants You ordained praise because of Your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger." (Ps 8:1-2)
"As for Me, this is My covenant with them,' says the Lord. 'My Spirit, who is on You, and My words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever,' says the Lord." (Is 59:21)
"The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them." (Is 11:6)
The last words of the Old Testament: "See, I will send you the prophet Elijah before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers; or else I will come and strike the land with a curse." (Ma 4:5-6)
The new testament testimony about Jesus: "And He will go on before the Lord, in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous - to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." (Lk 1:17)
