Second poorest country in the world - the DRCongo. It is always a matter of perspective. There is the world's view and God's view. We just had a wonderful fellowship with Augustine who coordinates outreaches in this country. This is one of his testimonies: During an outreach to Idjwe Island in the middle of Lake Kivu, they were preparing to show the Jesus film when some of the people began to cause chaos. The king or main chief of the island was in attendance and told the people to not interrupt the program. He was not a believer. Many people came to receive Jesus at the altar call. After the outreach, the king came to the group personally and said that he had always put his faith in witchdoctors but had seen so many come to faith in Jesus Christ, that he also would like to have Jesus as his Savior and the Lord of his life. These are some photos he shared of an outreach at a local school. Wealth in worldly things including prestige, knowledge, material things or position do not make you rich. You become rich when you believe. Jesus said, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and He with Me."
